Praying in faith changes things, moves the heart of God, changes OUR hearts for the things/people we pray for. James 5 says: “Is any of you in trouble? He should pray. Is anyone happy? Let him sing songs of praise. Is any one of you sick? He should call the elders of the church to pray over him and anoint him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer offered in faith will make the sick person well; the Lord will raise him up. If he has sinned, he will be forgiven. Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous man is powerful and effective.”

Here are some areas that need prayer:
MEN OF GOD – Pray for men in the fellowship to grow in personal holiness, faith & strong, empowering leadership.
WOMEN OF GOD – Pray for women to grow in character, faith & visionary leadership.
MULTIETHNICITY – Pray for creativity & effectiveness in multi-ethnic outreach, particularly to Latino, black, South-East Asian, Korean students!
NEW CHRISTIANS – Pray for the new believers to grow in faith & discipleship as they learn what it means to follow Jesus!
LEADERS – Pray for our Vision Team, worship leaders, prayer leaders. Ask for protection, deepening relationships with God, responsibility with their positions of godly leadership!
NEW LIFE – Pray for cynics & seekers to continually be warmly received in the fellowship. Ask that they would engage with conversations with Christian friends and teachings/studies of the gospel, that the Spirit of God would soften their hearts so they would say YES to Jesus!
I send bi-monthly emails to share about God’s work on campus & to ask for prayer for specific students, movements or events. My hope is that these emails will bring courage to your own faith as you hear how God is moving! If you would like to receive these updates, please email me at ho.kaitlin@gmail.com & let me know!
