Northeastern’s InterVarsity Multiethnic Christian Fellowship is a recently planted IV chapter with a short but rich history of God’s faithfulness. After a long, trying, arduous process with school administration, IV was finally established as a recognized student group on Northeastern’s campus on Easter, 2007. Students celebrated Jesus’ life – risen from the grave! – as well as the life that He promised to bring (and was already bringing!) to their campus.
Four years later, the chapter is growing and students are learning what it means to be committed to the group’s God-given mission: to advance the kingdom of God at Northeastern University through whole-life conversion to Jesus. We desire to see deep transformation among students from all different spiritual backgrounds, praying to see transformation from cynic to seeker, seeker to follower, follower to leader, leader to world changer. We are committed to help students encounter Jesus because we believe that transformation and life is in Him!
