About Kaitlin:
I am in my fourth year as a Campus Staff with InterVarsity at Northeastern University. I live in Boston, went to school in Boston & I am surrounded with college students from dozens of Boston schools. Through my conversations & interactions with students on campus (& having been one myself), I have been convinced me that the gospel must advance on college campuses during such a pivotal time in students’ lives. I believe that God yearns to (and is already!) call students into relationship with Him.
As it is only my 4th year in ministry (but I’m guessing it’ll be like this even if it was my 20th), every day is full of learning what effective ministry looks like, how to love & lead well, how to listen closely for the voice of God. The list of “how to”‘s & “okay, never do that again” gets longer every time I’m on campus – it is a humbling journey of deepening trust in a Savior who rescues & keeps reminding me that He’s a WHOLE lot bigger than I think He is, that this “reaching out to students” thing was HIS idea, not mine, not even InterVarsity’s. Praise God that He’s the Great Initiator, the One who is ever-pursuing hearts..the One with whom we have the privilege to work & serve!
I am extremely extroverted (recently “mellowing out” a little bit, thanks to increasingly old age & the grace of God to the world) & have a particularly deep value for relationships with partners in the ministry. God often uses the words & little emails from you all to speak life to me, to give more faith, more courage as I work on campus. That being said, always feel free to drop me a line, to let me know how I can pray for YOU (I do that, by the way…this aint no one-way street), to share funny stories about your kid getting stuck in your neighbor’s bush (haha, true story), to share stories of God’s faithfulness to you!

hey kaitlin — awesome website, just enough information (not enough to make ppl skim, but enough to keep the world updated on how awesome iv is going at northeastern. tell the northeasterns i said hi and i hope krup is as amazing as it has been for everybody going beforehand. im gonna write down to pray for u guys cause otherwise ill forget.
and awesome videos with the pushups haha, kevin is a machine. and reNew orleans is sweet.
